Caryl Espinoza Jaen is a Nicaraguan-born writer based in Brooklyn, New York. His writing has appeared in various local and national outlets, including COMPLEX, Food Republic, GAY TIMES Magazine, INDY Week, New York Magazine, Resident Advisor, and more. He holds an M.A. in Arts and Culture Reporting from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism. He has also worked as a copy editor and fact checker for literary journals, nonfiction authors, and private clients.
